With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Kostka of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Brooten, Minnesota, who passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Kalland and Ovedia Kalland (Charles Kostka); her children, Elaine Olson, Eleanor Olson, Joyce Olson (Powers), Joseph Olson and Elwood Olson; and her sisters, Helen Ruud and Lorraine Sampson.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Braden of Shreveport, LA, Keith Olson of Hibbing, MN, Marvin Olson of Hibbing, MN, Linda McCormick (Everett) of Babbitt, MN, Cathy Swapp (Chris) of Cottonwood, AZ, Colleen Olson of Hibbing, MN and Michelle Spruck (Rob) of Rosemount, MN. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
