He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Oberton and Dorothy "Vi" Oberton. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his son Kristopher Oberton (Annie); and his siblings, Violet "Marie" Winckler (George), Charlotte Bishop (Vern), Susan Larson (Curtis), Rodney Oberton (Bonnie), Floyd "Ed" Oberton (Kelly), Daniel Oberton (Diane), Arthur Oberton and Joseph Oberton (Robin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
