It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Filipiak of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Moose Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Florian Filipiak and Lucy Filipiak (Fabeck); his daughter Laura; and his brother Richard. He is survived by : his wife Alice Holbein of Grand Rapids, MN; his children, Tony, Susan Carol of Cohasset, MN and Debbie Filipiak (Dan Supan) of Burnsville, MN; his stepsons, Jeff Holbein (Deb) of Port Charlotte, FL and Don Holbein (Sue) of St. Cloud, MN; his grandchildren, Justin Lokken (Megan), Karl Lokken (Ellen), Tiffany Lokken (Melissa), Faith Filipiak (Tori), Trisha Holbein, Kayla Cox (Jacob) and Abbey Haugen (Thomas); and his sister Antonia Filipiak of Bloomington, MN. He is also survived by 9 great grandsons, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
