It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duaine Kimpling of Granite Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duaine Kimpling to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Josephine Kimpling (Specht) and Merle Kimpling; his sisters-in-law, Leslie, Janice Kimpling (Ronald), Linda Kimpling (Gerald Kimpling) and Dalen Grussing; and his grandson Samuel Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Marie Osberg; his daughters, Laura Kimpling of Belgrade, MN, Michelle Kimpling (Kelly Meier) of Beresford, SD and Maren Ettesvold (Joshua) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Lauren Tonn, Alysa Eckstein, Adam Leedahl, Sarah Feely, Joshua Fitzgerald, Jack Fitzgerald, Jacob Ettesvold, Erik Ettesvold and Maija Ettesvold; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Charlotte, Hadlee, Camden, Oaklynne, Miles, Graham and Baby Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Merlen Kimpling (Lee) and Linda Grussing.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church (350 9th Ave, Granite Falls, MN 56241). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Avera Hospice.
