He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Thielen and Dorothy Thielen (Jansen); his wife Mavis Kramer; his sons-in-law, Sam Knutson and Russ Knutson; and his siblings, Margie, Don, Richard and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Thielen (Laurie), Deb Agre (Dan), Lori Knutson and Larry Thielen (Jackie); his grandchildren, Chase Thielen (Jenna), Nicki Jakel (Jerod), Ryan Dambroten (Sarah), Kayla Dambroten (Chris), Joseph Dambroten (Brooke), Rachel Steenerson (Jeremy), Lacey Knutson (Kurtis), Gunnar Knutson, Claressa Kent (Mike) and Cassie Speh (Cody); his great grandchildren, McCoy, McKinlee, EmmyLou, Remington, Wyatt, Weston, Rowdy, Ruger, Riverly, Buck, Bennett, Brynley, Reagen, Eleanor, Everly, Harper, Mason, Colstan, Maelin, Ezra and Titus; his great great grandchild Keliann; his siblings, Skip Thielen and Sharon Kremer; and his godson Troy Thielen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
