He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Neal and Margaret O'Neal (McMahon); his wife Elaine Marie Van Keulen; his son Brendan; his grandson John; his in-laws, Hubert and Anna Van Keulen; and his brother Pat O'Neal.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Schindele (Brian) of Granite Falls, Lisa Hewitt (Marc) of Brooklyn Park, Erin Korstad (Dan) of Shiloh and Megan Canatsey (Chris) of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Courtney Buseman (Zach), Lucas Schindele, Nicholas Schindele, Bradley Hewitt, Drew Hewitt, Sydney Korstad, Lyndsey Korstad, Brayden Korstad, Talan Canatsey, Holden Canatsey and Harper Canatsey; his great grandchild Brynlee Buseman; and his siblings, Don O'Neal (Jean), Steve O'Neal (Marlys) and Cathie Aunoien.
