She was predeceased by : her parents, Myron Martin and Hazel Martin (Allchin); her son Bruce Bestland (Jennifer) of Granite Falls; and her husband David Bestland. She is survived by : her daughter Brenda Bestland of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandsons, Bryant Bestland (Emma Overbye) of Willmar, MN, Shaun and Channing Bestland of Granite Falls; her great grandchild Kaysen Bestland of Willmar, MN; her brothers, Alan Martin (Sue) of Russel, MN and Arlen Martin of Hazel Run, MN; her sister-in-law Phyllis Carlson of Oakdale, MN; and her caregiver Dennis Dandurand.

In lieu of flowers direct any memorial to the Granite Falls Lions Club or the Yellow Medicine Lutheran East Cemetery or simply spread kindness to others.
