It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linnea Balfany of Granite Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sven Edwin "Ed" and Ethel Johnson (Noren); her husband Chauncey Alden Balfany; and her siblings, Carlyle, Elaine and Vivian.

She is survived by : her sons, Robert Balfany (Kathy) of Granite Falls, Todd Balfany (Lucy) of Sacred Heart, Tim Balfany (Jana) of Edina, Joel Balfany of Marshall and John Balfany (Ann) of Waconia; and her sister Alice Zimmer of Springfield. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
