With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Helgeson of Granite Falls, Minnesota, born in Wood Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on April 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Helgeson and Alta Helgeson (Helvig); his daughter-in-law Christy Gustafson; his siblings, Lenora Sheppard (Dayton "Joe") and Marvin; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Helgeson and Dale Olson.

He is survived by : his wife Delores Olson; his children, Jodi Helgeson of St. Louis, MO, Bruce Helgeson (Kris) of Wood Lake, Keith Helgeson (Melissa) of Granite Falls and Kurt Helgeson (Stacy) of South Haven; his grandchildren, Josh Helgeson (Cassie) of Clara City, Tim Helgeson of Wood Lake, Kelsey Laleman (Gavin) of Cottonwood, Blake Helgeson (Nichole Ziller) of Bird Island, Ashton Helgeson of Granite Falls, Neil Helgeson (Jordan Geraets) of Elk River and Danielle Helgeson of Chicago, IL; his great grandchildren, Kason, Rylan, Hudson, Sutton, Tennasyn, Riftin, Riggs and Lainey; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Olson (Barbara) of Spicer and Joyce Lewison of Montevideo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church (350 9th Ave, Granite Falls, MN 56241). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
