He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Verna Schmitz and Harvey Christianson (Doak Cobenias). He is survived by: his parents, Mari Schmitz of Foreman, ND and Kevin Schmitz of Oakes, ND; his wife Brooke Blue of Granite Falls; his pets, Mildred and Wallace; his parents-in-law, Vicki and Russ Blue of Granite Falls, MN; his siblings-in-law, Jedd and Melina; his grandparents, Audrey Christianson (Frank) of Fargo, ND and Grant Schmitz of Oakes, ND; and his close friends, Tanner Kosen, Braden Hollingsworth and Rock.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home of Granite Falls (845 US-212, Granite Falls, MN 56241). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
