He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Foley (Jack) and Vilma Foley (Willy); his daughter Diane; his brother Paul Foley; his parents-in-law, Leonard Sr. and Lorraine Hoen; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Hoen and Martin Quinn.
He is survived by: his wife Connie of Bernard's Catholic Church; his children, Karen Swoboda (Allen) of Jump River, WI, David Foley (Brooke), Carol Hall of Richfield, Mark Foley (Jean), Susan Peterson (Austin) of Stillwater, James Foley of Watertown and Joan Foley (Chris Peterson); his grandchildren, Tyler, Brodey Swoboda, Maggie, Lily Foley, Noah Hall, Owen, Kaya Peterson, Lewis, Corrine, Barrett Foley and Ian Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Jr., Rose Hoen, Patricia Quinn of Cologne, Roger, Carol Hoen of Cologne, Janice, Dennis Konerza of Silver Lake, Richard and Kim Hoen of Cologne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Brendan's Maintenance Fund.
