She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Carlsen and Walter Carlsen. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Gjevre; her daughter Joni Slack (Kelly); her grandsons, Adam and Benjamin; her sons, Jon and Kirk (Lisa); her grandchildren, Logan and Emma; her siblings, Wayne (Barb) and Gene (Diane); and her stepsiblings, Lee and Laurel.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Northern Peace Funeral Home (114 Tianna Dr, Walker, MN 56484).
