With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Johnston (Hackensack, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Johnston and Lora Johnston (Bell); his grandfather Bob; his great-grandparent Bob; and his siblings, Donna Braun, Ruth Ann Flemming and Bradley Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Judy (Doering); his children, Heather Strandlien (Cory) and Robert Jr. "Rob" Johnston (Katie); his grandchildren, Madisen Ubert (Jake), Macy Strandlien (Carter), Kenna Strandlien, Robert III and Anna Johnston; his great grandchildren, Nash and Reid Ubert; and his siblings, Maxine Larson, Gary Johnston, Karen Knoof (Bob), Rick Johnston and Ron Johnston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
