She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benais and Katherine Tate. She is survived by: her pet Lily; her children, Delvis Benais, Sr., Darren Benais, Sr. and Sheila Cournoyer; her granddaughter Ashley Needham; her husband Wayne Nass of Halstad; her brother Harvey Benais (Anita) of Fosston; and her children, Virgil Benais (Bernie) of Cass Lake, Gene Barrett, Jr., Frank Barrett, Sr. of Red Lake and LeeAnn Sumner (Barrett) of Red Lake. She is also survived by numerous relatives and many friends.
