Teresa Mae (Lang) Huberty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Mae (Lang) Huberty (Ham Lake, Minnesota), who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was survived by her parents Richard and Mary Lang; son and daughter, Brandon and Kayla Huberty; her grandchildren Avery and Mikah Skovera; and her siblings Rick Lang, Deanne Lang, and Eddie Lang. A loving mother and grandmother and retired member of the military, she spent most of her time volunteering at the VA or helping veterans wherever she found them. A founding member and previous Post Commander of the Patrick Novak American Legion Post 5222 in 2019, found this post was one of her most prized accomplishments. Throughout her lifetime, she took in children from all walks of life and treated them as if they were her own. With a heart of gold, and never asking for anything in return, she selflessly gave everything she could to help others right up to the very end. An artist, she would draw to relieve stress, and to bring a smile to others' faces by recreating images of pets, family portraits, and anything meaningful to someone as requested. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 13th 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55450).
