Barbara Mengelkoch Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 86, Barbara Mengelkoch of Hamel, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Nielsen and Jeanne Nielsen (Lucier). She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Jerry, Brad, Joel and Jean Mengelkoch (Paul Marcum); her grandchildren, Brandi Klinkner, Zach, Tucker and Tanner Mengelkoch; her great grandchildren, Sloan and Stella Klinkner; her siblings, Antoinette Dalbec, Sharon Hermann, Chuck Nielsen (Joan), Kenny Nielsen (Jackie) and Debi Nielsen (Bruce Bjorklund); and her friends, Beverly Marschel, Darlene Bechtold and LaVerne Torblaa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plymouth Chapel (15800 37th Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55446). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Anne (200 Hamel Rd, Medina, MN 55340).
