He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Kimmes (Greg Kneser), Cherie Frandrup (Bernie), Gretchen Kimmes (Les Thompson) and Charlee Kimmes (Dayton Benson); his grandchildren, Amelia Dillard (Taylor), Wylie Kimmes Kneser, Jacob Frandrup, Sally Borst (Jake), Hally Frandrup and Taryn Serres-Benson; his great grandchild Axel Dillard; and his siblings, Kenneth Kimmes and Donna Frandrup. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Gene's memory, the family asks that memorial gifts be directed to them, to be used toward a future charitable donation in his name.
