With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Eugene Schmidgall of Hancock, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Schmidgall and Dorothy Schmidgall (Wendt); and his grandson Trayton Judkins. He is survived by: his wife June Schmidgall of Hancock; his children, Amy Schmidgall of Hancock, Tonia Schmidgall of Morris and Joshua Schmidgall (Heidi) of Elgin, IA; his grandchildren, Jamie Schmidgall, Nevaeh, Danika, Hunter, Gabriel Judkins, Sonia, Susan, Samuel, Simeon, Serena, Sylvia and Steven Schmidgall; and his siblings, Doug Schmidgall (Pat) of Morris, Gary Schmidgall (Rose Peluso) of Anoka, MN, Andy Schmidgall (Amy) of Morris, LuAnn Brandt (Mike) of Morris, Patti Wiese (Troy) of Phoenix, AZ and Ruth White of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
