The passing of Marlys J. Sletta of Hanska, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelfred Krueger and Mildred Krueger (Grochow); and her siblings-in-law, Esther Krueger and Orris Sletta (Arlys). She is survived by: her husband Mark Sletta of John's Lutheran Church; her daughters, Karen Haala (Larry) and Heidi Walters (Christopher); her grandchildren, Trae Domeier, Leo Haala and Emma Walters; and her siblings, Shirley Rademacher (Willie), Mavis Davis (Leon), Orville Krueger and Duane Krueger (Sherry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (211 Summit Ave, Hanska, MN 56041).
