He was predeceased by: his grandson Jeremy Reinarts; his siblings, Robert Willis (Vivian), Mary Bell Schneider (Harold) and Elaine Miller (Lane); his sister-in-law Allyson Nundahl; and his parents, James Willis and Mary Willis (Park).
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Willis of Hanska; his children, Richard Willis Jr. of Mankato, Joan Stanford (Shawn) of North Mankato, Krista Krzmarzick (Kelly) of New Ulm and Ben Willis (Melissa) of Dekalb, IL; his grandchildren, Amanda Reinarts, Brody Wenner, Kyler Krzmarzick, Oscar Willis and Eddie Willis; his great grandchild Wyatt Reinarts; his brother Alfred Willis of Lacona, IA; his mother-in-law LaVerne Williams (Ernie); his brothers-in-law, James Nundahl and Randy Nundahl; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
