We announce the death of Dorothy F. Desens of Hutchinson, Minnesota, who passed away on September 17, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Libbon and Viola Libbon (Judd); her daughter Mari Ann Paolillo; her brothers, George and Bob Libbon; her parents-in-law, Edwin and Marie Desens; and her brothers-in-law, Henry and Paul Desens.
She is survived by: her son John William (Becky) of Sioux Falls, SD; her husband Richard Desens of Hutchinson, MN; her grandchildren, Austin Paolillo (Hannah), Carly Paolillo, Rebecca Desens (Alex) and Justin Desens (Abbigayle); her great grandchildren, Julius, Beatrice, Evelyn, Justin, Joseph, Teddy, Lucy Paolillo and Maggie Desens; her sister Carol Watnemo (Doug) of Maplewood, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Beatrice Libbon and Shirley Libbon. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (335 Main St S, Hutchinson, MN 55350). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
