He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Wakefield and Marian Wakefield (McColley); his wife Joyce; his brother James; his parents-in-law, Ben and Margaret Eustice; and his siblings-in-law, Dick, Dennis and Jan.
He is survived by: his sons, Kyle (Emily), Travis (Laurie) and Dan; his granddaughters, Lauren, Naomi and Abby; his brothers, Lowell (Darlene) and John; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Johnson and Monica Priebe (Charlie). He is also survived by cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church (401 Church St, Hartland, MN 56042). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at the St. Peter Cemetery.
