He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Halbakken and Norma Halbakken; and his sister Shirley Bilden. He is survived by: his wife Patti; his sons, Dave and Mike (Holly); his grandchildren, Kendall Hildman (Tristyn), Keegan and Kierstin Halbakken; and his sisters, Bev Solum (Paul), Pat Hoff (Allan) and Cindy Farr (Howie). He is also survived by three nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
