We are sad to announce that, on May 1, 2022, at the age of 100, Dorothy I. Werner (Hastings, Minnesota), born in Farmington, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gerster and Dorothy Gerster (Peine); her husband Clement "Clem" Werner; her children, Mary, James and Dave Werner; her siblings, Olivia Lorentz, Bernice Molitor, Lorraine Rother, Al Gerster and Kathleen Leifeld; and her son-in-law Lance Nagayama.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Nagayama and Tom Werner (Deanna); her grandchildren, Erin Freitag, Erika Greenlee, Jill Ide (Chris), Steve Nagayama, Michael Nagayama (Deirdre), Brittany Hiedeman (Ethan), Luke Werner and Amy Hujet (Joe); her sister Alvera Niebur; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Gerster. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Catholic Charities of Minneapolis & St. Paul in memory of Dorothy.
