He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Laumeyer and Lois Laumeyer (Bokinskie). He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Mike Chapeau (Brenda), Troy Chapeau (Jenny), Kristine Knutson (Nate), Nate Laumeyer (Jen) and Eric Laumeyer (Jess); his grandchildren, Zack, Josh, Alyssa (Cody), Samantha, Callie, Katelyn, Natalie, Megan, Nick (Clara), Rachel, Carson, Connor and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Kelten, Oliver, Teagan and Cullen; and his siblings, Becky Kline (Al), Bill Laumeyer (Karla), Dan Laumeyer and Alan Laumeyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In accordance with Doug's wishes, memorial contributions may be made to the Hastings Catholic Education Foundation (HCEF), 600 Tyler Street, Hastings, MN 55033, in lieu of flowers.
