He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Carel and Robert Carel; and his brothers, Brad and Bobby. He is survived by: his son Jeremey Douglas (Alyson); his wife Gail Henderson Carel; his daughter Faun Stanton (Brent); his grandchildren, Kaylin, Olivia, Tanner Carel, Grant, Finn and Reese Stanton; his siblings, Bruce (Priscilla), Greg, Rick Carel, Donna Duffy and Darlene Lindberg (David); his mother-in-law Ruby Henderson; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Raadt (Mike) and Christine Alberg (Timothy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
