He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauren Herman and Helen Herman; his wife Doris; his son Richard; his siblings, Laurislee, Gordon and Harlan; and his granddaughter Angie Malm Deberardini.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Herman Malm (Jerry Smith), Pam Pardo (Joe), Tom Herman (Linda) and Bill Herman (Samantha); and his siblings, Jolene, Jim, Sally, Susan, Steve, Mary and Joyce. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
