She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Tupper and Annetta Tupper (Vander Waal); her sister Karen; her parents-in-law, John F. (Jack) and Alice Diischer; her brother-in-law Michael Diischer; and her uncle Richard Tupper of Rapid City, SD.
She is survived by: her husband John; her son John Matthew; her brother Loren Tupper (Becky); her nieces, Jessica Sundberg (Craig) of Broken Bow, OK, Kristina Tupper of Bartlesville, OK and Roberta Eberhard (Greg) of Tulsa, OK; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyson Sundberg, Lauren Eberhard, Ryan Sundberg, Silas and Lincoln Eberhard; her aunt Jackie; and her siblings-in-law, Charmaine Diischer of Pocahontas, IA, Mary, Jeff Triplett of Hill City, SD, Nancy and Gary Hartsock of Urbandale, IA. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Ellen has requested that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society, to ADVANCE in Brookings, SD, or to St. Philip's Lutheran Church in Hastings, MN.
