With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Joe Mogen of Hastings, Minnesota, who passed away on January 30, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Mogen (Kendall); his siblings, Bonnie Ajax and Norbert "Norb" Mogen; and his nephew Braedon Metz. He is survived by: his father Joseph Mogen; his wife Caren Mogen; his daughter Cammie Jo Mogen Flynn (Derek); his grandchildren, Ashlyn Otto (Bruce), Taylin Flynn and Blake Adams; his great grandchildren, Kyndra, Brentlee and Hudsyn; his stepsons, Matthew Adams (Katie) and Luke Ritchie; his siblings-in-law, Brett Anderson, Sue Metz-Anderson and Chris Metz; and his nieces and nephews, Morgan Schmid (Anderson), Madisyn Anderson, Shayla Metz, Aubri Metz, Gavin Metz, Scott Mogen, Joel Mogen and Chris Mogen. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family for a donation to be made at a later date to the charity of their choice.
