He is survived by: his wife Karen (Arndt); his children, Cliff Harrington (Suzie), Kurt Merritt, Lorraine Merritt, Delores Ortega, Todd Harrington and Jason Merritt; his daughter-in-law Karen Harrington; his grandchildren, Danielle, Jordan (Sharon), Alex (Samantha), Beth, Katie, Peyton, Alli, Tiffani, Kirsten and Marlee; and his great grandchildren, Winnie, Fred, Henrick, Alex, Riley, Evan, Ellie and Owen.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel (3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033).
