He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Margaret; his siblings, Larry and Judy; and his brother-in-law Arlo Becker.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, James Jr. (Jessica Kulla), Sarah Lindner (Dan) and Isaiah Bzoskie (Alexa); his grandchild Haley Kulla; his children, Whitney, Noah Bzoskie, Anna (Mason Murphy), Ryan, Mia Lindner, Frank, Eleanora and Mack Bzoskie; his great grandchildren, Trenton and Jordyn; his sisters, Janice Malone (Jim) and Nancy Fritsch (Fred); and his sisters-in-law, Jeannie Bzoskie and Ina Skoglund. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cornerstone Bible Church or to the donor's choice.
