With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Peine of Hastings, Minnesota, who passed away on November 17, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sr. Peine and Margaret Peine (Wollmering); his wife Helen Bauer; his siblings, Mary Rose Feidt, Marjorie Beissel, Vi Weber, Irma Greene, Henry Peine Jr., Lawrence Peine, Ervin Peine and Kenneth "Butch" Peine; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Craig and Noelle.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Peine (Sandy), Joyce McBeath (Bob), Gery Peine (Joni), Renee Davis, Joanne Ruttger (Chris), Roger Peine (Julie), Jeff Peine and Sue Seykora (Jeremy); his brother Lloyd Peine (Lenore); and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Peine, Karleen Peine, Jan Weber, Louise Kimmes, Susie DuShane, Emma Doyle, Tillie Johnson, Pat Bauer and Ron Greene. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Trier, or donor's choice.
