He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bauer and Cathryn Bauer (Greten); and his wife Rita Feidt of Mary's Catholic Church. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Schaffer (Allen), Paul Bauer (Jean) and Donna Karnick (Ray); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Schaffer (Nicole), Jason Schaffer (Jessica), Justin Schaffer, Amanda Bauer (Kevin Burns), Christina Schmidt (Tyler), Laura Bauer, Jessica Bauer, Makayla Karnick, Haley Karnick, Sara Karnick and Nicholas Karnick; his great grandchildren, Triston, Brooke, Alexis, Owen, Mason, Taylor, Aiden, Raelynn and Elouise; and his siblings, Willard Bauer (Char) and Mary Frandrup. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
