He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Donald Hochmuth. He is survived by: his mother Chloe Hochmuth (Diedrich); his wife Anna; his daughter Clara; his stepsons, Cole and Jack; his brothers, Andy (Deanna), Paul (Karen) and Karl (Betty); his parents-in-law, Ron and Lynn Schardt; and his sister-in-law Jenna King (Sean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (202 8th St W, Hastings, MN 55033). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (202 8th St W, Hastings, MN 55033). A reception will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hastings Public House (2015 Westview Dr, Hastings, MN 55033).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family, who will make a donation in Nate's honor at a later date.
