With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter P. Meier of Hastings, Minnesota, who passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Meier and Rose Meier; his wife Grace Batzel; his siblings, Rita, Hildegard, Donald, Bernice, Othmar, Gordon and Martha; and his grandsons, Brian and Sean Morrison.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jane Newman (Kerry), Susan Carter (Timothy), James Morrison (Patricia) and Paula Morrison; his grandchildren, Brandon Carter, Mercedes Jones, Alexander Morrison, Sarah Duerscherl (John), Heather Boldt (KC) and Krag Morrison; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Duerscherl, Nora Duerscherl and Theodore Boldt; and his siblings, Florence Pirrung (Bob), Dorothy Smith (Rod), Harold Meier (Sheryl) and Jeannie Harrington (Mitch). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
