He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Heizler and Kathryn Heizler (Zubcack); his wife Karen Plein; his brother Kenny Heizler; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Plein, Bob Plein and Steve Martinek.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Heizler (Tina) and Jennifer Henderson (Don); his grandchildren, Steven, Savannah, Amber Henderson and Mari Lentz Köker (Ekin); his siblings, Pat Heizler (Aaron Berg) and Diane Martinek; and his siblings-in-law, Don Plein, Arvid Plein (Kathy), Linda Heizler and Joanne Plein. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
