He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Herschel and Anna Marie Wilson (Wing); his granddaughter Yvonne Medina; and his siblings, Reuben, Dale, Dick, Mike, Jerry, Marie Walters and Mary Eatros.

He is survived by: his former wife Joanne Zvorak; his wife Linda Demuth; his children, Julie Medina of Albuquerque, NM, Ron, Jr. of Red Wing, Gene Wilson (Elsa) of Blue Earth, MN, Scott Wilson (Julie) of Sioux Falls, SD and Valerie Phillips of Carlsbad, NM; his stepdaughters, Dawn Asbury of Hastings, MN and Becky Armstrong of Vermillion, MN; and his siblings, Glen Wilson (Peggy) of Willmar, MN, Marvin Wilson of Winona, MN and Doris Dandurand of Klamath Falls, OR. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
