She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Papenfuhs and Mabel Papenfuhs; her husband Kenneth Hamilton Slick; and her siblings, Merilyn Hoeg and Ralph Papenfuhs.

She is survived by: her children, Janine Slick of Auburn, AL, Steven Slick (Merri) of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Bonnet (Gabriel) of Reno, NV and John Slick of Sandy Springs, GA.; her grandchildren, Megan Faucher (Bill), Meridith Voshell (Ryan), Seth Slick (Lindsay), Sara Slick, Suzanne Bonnet, Patti Bonnet and Mike Bonnet (Jenny); and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Lucy, Lillian, Sagan, Simone, Nathalie and Sean. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
