She was predeceased by: her parents, Zacheus Braun and Amalia Braun (Schreiner); her husband Adolph Ritt; her son James; and her granddaughter Hannah.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Rosch (Peter) of Hastings, David Ritt (Elizabeth) of Fridley, Susan Evenson (Mark) of Hastings, Michael Ritt (Jean) of Hastings, Brian Ritt of Hastings, Stephen Ritt of Hastings and Christopher Ritt (Michelle) of Hastings. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relative, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Grace Hospice and Hastings Senior Health and Living.
