He is survived by: his nephews, Jon Niemann and Richard Hennen; his wife Mary Lou; his children, Judy McDowell (Patrick), Jane Gerry (Mark), Stephanie Polillo (Patrick), Daniel Carpenter (Jacquelyn) and Scott Carpenter (Catherine); his grandchildren, Angela Zeyen (Steve), Paul McDowell (Lisa), Anna Bauer (Jay), Jenna Gerry, Andrew Polillo (Kylie), Anthony Polillo (Selina), Gracey Jo Carpenter, Alex Carpenter (Emily), Charlie Carpenter (Beatriz) and Madison Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Victoria, Trevor, Vincent Zeyen, Malerie, River, Gabi McDowell, Axton, Lenox Bauer and Charlotte Drew Polillo; his siblings, Katherine Erickson, Mary Katz, Aileen Niemann, Carol Silvestri (Edward), Thomas Carpenter and Geri Slattum (Gene); and his parents-in-law, Marlyn Hennen (Edna), Don Hennen (Jude), Janice Lindala and Gary Hennen (Phyllis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
