He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Christopher Miest (Barbara), Rebecca Miest, Traci Carlson, Ryan Roiger (Tara), RaeKell Lambert (Andy) and Regin Roiger (Amber); his grandchildren, Sawyer, Danica, Sten, Tryggvi, Maddy, Evan, Jenna, Myles, Alice and Edyth; and his siblings, Dennis Miest (Kathy), Elizabeth Isebrand (Daryl), John Miest (Jeanne), Shirley Laingen (Paul), Douglas Miest (Sherry), Bonnie Glasgow (Steve Copeland) and JoyAnn Sing (Willis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
