He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Aakre and Norma Aakre (Anderson) of Hawley, MN.; his sister Nancy; and his brother-in-law Larry Reiser. He is survived by: his wife Pam of Litchville, ND; his children, Nicholas Dean (Abigail), Kelsey Jean (Cory Buchholz), Elizabeth Grace (Jordan Hallman) and Charles Raymond (Jade); his grandchildren, Colton, Caylix, Coyer, Kenley Buchholz and Ezekiel Aakre; and his siblings, Dwight (Karen), Phyllis, Dale and Jan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Rollag Lutheran Church, North Dakota 4-H Foundation and the Lake Region Healthcare Cancer Center.
