She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nelson and Mildred Nelson (Olson); her husband Harold Dolva; her children, Dennis, Jeffery and Kathryn; and her sister Carol Stordahl.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Gula and Terri Amann (Todd); her grandchildren, Jamie Cossette, Lauren Gula, Logan Amann and Audrey Gula; her great grandchildren, Trayton Cossette (Sydney), Cade Cossette, Asher Schenck and Knox Schenck; her great great grandchildren, Brixton and Haven Cossette; and her sister Beverly Myhre.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice (HIA) or HERT (Hawley Emergency Response Team) in memory of Maydell.
