She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Swanson and Betty Swanson (Amundson); her husband Jim; and her brother Jerry. She is survived by: her children, Bradley Bortnem (Laurel) of Portland, OR, Lisa Wiser (Jon) and Bryan Bortnem (Gina) of Duluth, MN; her grandchildren, Brock Bortnem, Malia Bortnem, Blake Bortnem, Cale Bortnem, Grace Czarobski, Jordan Bortnem, Tyler Wiser and Lindsi Hanlon; her sisters, Beth Culhane (Jerry) and Lee Laswell; and her sister-in-law Georgia Swanson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
