It is with sadness that we share the passing of Erika Eggert (Hayfield, Minnesota), born on May 29, 1930. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Erika for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erich Griese and Maria Griese; and her husband Horst Franz Eggert. She is survived by: her son Norbert; her daughter-in-law Jean; her granddaughters, Emily and Amy (Tim); and her great grandchildren, Walter and Henry Simmons. She is also survived by nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (29972 570th Ave, Waltham, MN 55982). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
