She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Fossum and Lorraine Fossum (Boelter); her brother Roger; her sisters-in-law, Christine Fossum, Diana Fossum and Deb Watson; her parents-in-law, Don and Pat Kauffman; and her brother-in-law Bob Kauffman.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Kauffman of Brownsdale, MN; her stepchildren, Richard Borcherding of Brownsdale, MN, Jenn Huebsch (John) of Mitchell, IA, Rachel Hartson (Drew) of Hayfield, MN and Travis Kauffman (Ashlen) of Hayfield, MN; her brothers, Vance Fossum of Columbia, SC and Randy Fossum of Albert Lea, MN; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Kauffman (Karen) of Emmetsburg, IA, Rodney Watson of West Branch, IA, Kevin Kauffman (Christie) of The Villages, FL and Dan Kauffman (Bev) of Franktown, CO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Austin, MN or to the donor's choice.
