We announce the death of Charles Robert Peterson of Hayward, Minnesota, who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 81. Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Peterson and Olive Peterson; his wife Mary; his siblings, Mavis Miller (Raymond Miller) and Clayton Peterson; and his brother-in-law Richard Kraushaar.
He is survived by: his sons, Jon Peterson (Mirandie) and Nathan Peterson (Jen); his grandchildren, Amanda, Tristan, Sean, Leighton and Rilynn; his great grandchildren, Wesson and Waylen; his sisters, Shirley Kraushaar, Darlene Hoar (Blaine) and Gayle Neist (Earl); and his siblings-in-law, Carole, David Hoel, Sharon and Daryl Bateman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
