He is survived by: his children, Michelle Bregier (Steve Gray) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Ernest Ruona of Hector, MN and Tina Kuhlman (Duane) of Smiths Station, AL; his grandchildren, Joseph Lingl (Skyler), Jesse Lingl (Kalley Jo), Jacob Lingl (Alexis), Desiree Jacobson (Orion), Danika Jacobson, McKenna Bregier, Alexis Kuhlman and Alcee Kuhlman; his great grandchildren, Alaynah, Kayden, Beau, Easton, Hudson, Knoxson, Ava and Baby Lingl; and his brother Robert "Bob" Ruona (Patricia) of Cochise, AZ.

Ronald loved baking apple pies, often donating and sharing them with others, and had a passion for growing roses.
