He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hoyhtya of Hector, MN; his son Wally Hoyhtya (Amanda) of Crown Point, IN; his grandchildren, Naythan, Landyn and Cayden Hoyhtya; his siblings, Mildred Helmrichs, Phyllis Haarstad and Harold Hoyhtya; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Throndsen (Audrey), Paul Throndsen (Jill) and Charles Throndsen. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (700 Division St, Brownton, MN 55312). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
