He is survived by: his son Gavin Michael; his siblings, Richard Benz (Josie) of Sioux Falls, Allen Benz (Beverly) of Canby, David Benz (Kari) of Sioux Falls, James Benz (Sharla) of Hendricks, Minnesota and Sandy Giles of Willow Lake; his brothers-in-law, Paul Sterzinger of Ivanhoe, Minnesota and James Eastman of Ivanhoe, Minnesota; Kailyn Mutsch.
